Doing Disney with littles is magical… and also requires strategy 😂

With a 1- and 2-year-old in tow, these are the items that always make it into my diaper bag for a full park day or even some resort hopping. After plenty of trial and error, this list has become my non-negotiable lineup for smoother, happier Disney days.

Whether you’re tackling rope drop or staying for fireworks, here’s exactly what I pack—and why.

An Empty Good2Grow Character Cup or another easy cup

Perfect for water or juice throughout the day. It’s leakproof, adorable, easy to rinse out, and the character tops keep my kids happily sipping. A win all around.

Snacks (and then more snacks)

An endless supply is key. These are lifesavers between the Mickey-shaped snacks you’ll inevitably buy—and help avoid meltdowns while waiting in lines or for big events like a parade.

Sunnies

No matter the season, sunglasses are a must. I pack a pair for everyone and usually a backup, because Disney sun is no joke.

Mama Snacks & Electrolytes

You’ll be walking thousands of steps. Keeping yourself fueled and hydrated makes a huge difference in how the day goes.

Activities for Littles

A small book, coloring supplies, or a small toy can work wonders during long waits or downtime. These simple distractions have saved us more times than I can count.

CeresChill

A total lifesaver for kids who still drink a lot of milk (or even if your babe needs formula or breast milk!) It keeps milk cold even on the hottest summer days, and not having to hunt for milk in the parks saves me time and mental energy.

Backup Clothes

Pack a simple, easy outfit for each kid. Wet, dirty, or messy situations will happen—being prepared is key.

Hand Sanitizer

Disney germs are everywhere. Enough said.

Wipes & Diapers

I bring enough for the park day plus an extra. Wipes are great for diaper changes, but also for hands, tables, and random messes. You can pick small essentials in the baby care centers but they don’t have a big variety and it’s easier to just come prepared.

Diaper Changing Pad

Baby Care Centers are amazing, but when you can’t get to one quickly, a portable changing pad is essential for on-the-go changes. Plus, sometimes a companion bathroom is even more convenient.

✨ Popcorn Bucket

No popcorn is quite as good as Disney popcorn—and the discounted refills make this a must-have snack option for the whole family.

Zak Stainless Steel Straw Cup

I usually bring three: two for milk (one for each kid) and one for water to share and refill throughout the day.

SM Tumbler (Non-Negotiable)

Of course, my SM tumbler always comes with me. I prefer one where the straw can fully close, so I can toss it into the bottom of the stroller without worrying about spills—especially when the cup holder is already taken by coffee or another park drink. Staying hydrated (and caffeinated) is essential for long Disney days, and this makes it easy.

Remember that you can get free water refills at any quick service location to fill up your water bottle!

Ryobi Clip-On Fan

Heavy-duty, long-lasting, and stroller-friendly. We bring one for each kid—and one for me. Absolute must-have for hot days to avoid from melting or having meltdowns.

The Right Diaper Bag

A comfortable, easy-to-carry bag that fits everything is crucial—especially if you’ll be using Disney transportation and need to fold your stroller often. My Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag is my absolute go-to. It’s great quality, holds all of my things and the princess print makes it perfect for all things Disney.

Disney days with toddlers can be busy, exhausting, and unbelievably special. Having the right diaper bag essentials makes all the difference between surviving the day and actually enjoying it 💛

If you’re planning a Disney trip with littles and want help making it seamless, I’m always happy to help you plan every magical detail ✨
