Disney’s Magic Kingdom has always been a place where dreams shine bright — but now, they glow like never before. Disney’s all-new Starlight Parade sweeps down Main Street, U.S.A., turning the park into a shimmering wonderland of light, color, and imagination. As the sun sets and the stars appear, the streets come alive with breathtaking illuminated floats carrying your favorite Disney friends—each one more dazzling than the last.

Debuting in late July, this radiant new nighttime parade has been lighting up the park twice each evening—and it’s the first of its kind since the Main Street Electrical Parade bid farewell in 2016. Seeing a parade return to the stars above Main Street feels nothing short of magical. The Starlight Parade steps off at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM nightly, beginning its journey near Main Street and ending in Frontierland—a reversal of the usual Magic Kingdom parade route that adds its own unique twist.

The Starlight Parade bursts onto the scene in spectacular fashion, led by the enchanting Blue Fairy as she brings the night’s magic to life. She’s followed by Asha from Wish, who inspires the crowd to dream big and, of course, wish upon a star.

From there, the streets are bathed in color as one illuminated scene after another glides into view: the vibrant world of Encanto, the icy sparkle of Frozen, timeless Disney Princess moments, the tropical beauty of Moana, and more. Then comes the grand showstopper—the Starlight Train—a brilliant spectacle carrying a star-studded lineup including Daisy Duck, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and, naturally, Mickey and Minnie, waving to the crowd as twinkling lights surround them.

If you have a trip planned, the Starlight Parade is an absolute must-see. Because it’s still new, I recommend finding your viewing spot 30–60 minutes before it steps off. For easier front-row spots, head toward Frontierland. If you’d like to pair your parade view with the 10:00 PM fireworks show, Main Street or the area directly in front of Cinderella Castle offers the perfect vantage point to enjoy both.
